We may not be in Germany, but you can still celebrate OktoberFest this weekend as well as the next two weekends. The festival will feature all Oktoberfest favorites with lots of German beer, games, and traditional food such as pretzels and brats.

34th Annual Medieval Festival

Like dressing up in period costumes? Then the 34th annual Medieval Festival in Fort Tryon Park is the place for you this Sunday. Enjoy live chess games, authentic medieval music and dance, jousting, and other medieval faves.

Can you take the heat? Find out at the Chile Pepper Festival this Saturday. Sample from a variety of spicy vendors from around the world to test the limits of your tongue (and possibly other body parts) while enjoying live music and more.
