Queens Film Festival | March 16 – 25, 2018 | Kaufman Astoria Studios

Queens World Film Festival screens films from diverse points of view made by maverick filmmakers at the Museum of the Moving Image & Kaufman Astoria Studios. Closed Monday.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade | March 17, 2018 | From 44th to 79th. East.

Billed as the world’s oldest and largest St. Patrick’s parade, New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates Irish culture and the Catholic faith on 5th Avenue from 44th to 79th. No alcohol or pets. Free.

Orchid Evenings | March 17 – April 21, 2018 | New York Botanical Garden

Wander through the Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden, buy a cocktail, and hear romantic music playing on Orchid Evenings for age 21+. Special $100 open-bar party for ages 21 to 40 on April 14. Open March 17, 24, 31; April 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21.
