Staying Informed

Seaport Music Festival 2017

After a three-year absence, the Seaport Music Festival returns to South Street Seaport for its 15th anniversary, which will take place September 7 – September 10. Attendance is FREE and all-ages.

The festival has an eclectic lineup over the four days, including a Thursday night comedy event with Ophira Eisenberg (RSVP required), Friday night featuring “an immersive drive-in dance experience premiere that reinterprets and remixes movie heroines from the last four decades of American film” by The Dance Cartel, and Saturday and Sunday devoted to a music lineup.

Saturday’s lineup is headlined by the great Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, while Sunday’s lineup leans heavily on proto-punk and avant garde acts such as The Make-Up, Martin Rev (of the hugely influential band, Suicide), and James Chance & the Contortions.

And don’t forget, if you need a ride, just Dial 7.
