Airport Pick-Ups

Airport Pick-Up Procedures: Airlines & Terminals

Each NYC airport has different procedures for arriving customers getting picked up by a taxi, ride share or black car service. Dial 7’s dispatch center is in constant communication with the multiple airports serving the New York City area, ensuring each text message or email sent can perfectly fit into our clients pick-up specifications (airline + arrival time + terminal).

In the first part of this article we answered general questions about Dial 7’s Airport and Pick Up procedures. In this second part we are going to cover the pick-up locations of each airport, airline, terminal and meeting point of the multiple airports we serve.

General Questions:
What information does Dial 7 need from me at the moment of the reservation by the app, call center or website?
If you’re booking for a Curbside service (Standard, Luxury, or Minivan reservation), just provide us with your airline and flight number. Since our operations are synced with all airlines, we will send you an email and text message that you will reply to once you pick up your luggage at baggage claim. From there, you will receive an email/text message with further information, including contact information of your driver. For more details, click hereWe will not dispatch the vehicle until you confirm that you have retrieved your luggage and are ready to leave the airport, by calling or replying to our text/email. Since we wait for your confirmation and do not go by the time on the reservation, there is no need to call us in the case  your flight is  delayed or arriving ahead of schedule.

How is the process for a MEET and GREET?
If you book for a Meet and Greet (Select 7 Town Car or SUV), our dispatch team will monitor the flight and dispatch the driver for the exact landing time. Passengers arriving on domestic flights have 30 minutes of free wait time while those on international flights have 45 minutes before wait time charges become applicable. The wait time fee will depend on the vehicle booked and is prorated to the minute. For Select 7 Town Cars it is $52 per hour and for the SUV it is $75 per hour.

Airports

LaGuardia Airport:
LaGuardia is currently undergoing a massive modernization project with heavy construction that will last the next couple of years. Due to the construction, LaGuardia has designated a specific car service pick-up location for all car services, to help reduce potential traffic congestion on airport roadways. As of 4/5/2017, arriving customers must take the Green Shuttle Bus at Terminal B to the designated pick-up location to await their ride.

How do I get to Terminal B if my arrival is at Terminal A, C or D?
  • Terminal A: Take the Blue Route Shuttle Bus to Terminal B. Once in Terminal B take the Green Shuttle Bus to the Car Services Pick-Up location (the only stop this shuttle bus has).
  • Terminal B: Take the Green Shuttle Bus to the Car Services Pick-Up location (the only stop this shuttle bus has).
  • Terminal C:  Take the Purple Route Shuttle Bus to Terminal B. Once in Terminal B take the Green Shuttle Bus to the Car Services Pick-Up location (the only stop this shuttle bus has).
  • Terminal D:  Take the Purple Route Shuttle Bus to Terminal B. Once in Terminal B take the Green Shuttle Bus to the Car Services Pick-Up location (the only stop this shuttle bus has).

John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK):
Dial 7 may pick up passengers at any arrival or terminal point. Since our chauffeurs have to wait in a specific designated area, passengers must confirm the pick-up once their luggage has been retrieved from baggage claim. Reply to the email or text message and you will receive an email or text message with a curbside meeting point.

These are the general meeting points depending on your terminal’s location:
  • Terminal 1 & 2 : Curbside
  • Terminal 4 & 8: Pick up area C
  • Terminal 5: Pick Up Area 3
  • Terminal 7: Pick Up Area A

Newark International Airport:
Dial 7 may pick up passengers at any arrival or terminal point. Since our chauffeurs have to wait in a specific designated area, passengers must confirm the pick-up once their luggage has been retrieved from baggage claim. Reply to the email or text message and you will receive an email or text message with a curbside meeting point.

These are the general meeting points depending on your terminal’s location:
  • Terminal A: In this part of the airport there are doors with numbers leading outside. Share this information with your driver once you are outside.
  • Terminal B: Take the escalator to Lower Level 1, pick-up area #4. Next to the parking garage.
  • Terminal C:  Outside of the baggage claim doors, make a right to pick-up area #3.
These airports can feel massive and overwhelming, especially on busy travel days. If you feel lost at any point or unsure of where to go for your pick-up, feel free to call us 24/7 at 212-777-7777 after you retrieve your luggage and one of our agents will help you locate your driver.
