  • The High Line (just north of 14th Street.)
  • The Sunning Pier (Gantry Plaza State Park, Long Island City, Queens.)
  • Riverview Terrace at Sutton Place Park (East River between 56th and 57th Sts.)
  • Brooklyn Bridge Park (Main St at Plymouth, DUMBO, Brooklyn.)
  • McCarren Park Pool (Williamsburg, Brooklyn.)

On the windy side:

  • Hudson River Park Pier 45
  • Carl Shulruz Park
  • West 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe

More shade:

  • Socrates Sculpture Park
  • Memorial Grove in Van Cortlandt Park
  • The Ravine in Prospect Park

Indoors:

  • Brooklyn Art Museum Rose Cinemas (30 Lafayette Ave. ,Fort Green, Brooklyn.)
  • Metropolitan Museum of Art (1000 Fifth Ave. at 82nd St.)
  • The New York Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (Fifth Ave. at 42nd St.)
